森本由貴子

2008年大阪芸術大学版画コース卒業

動物や子どもをモチーフとした銅版画制作を行う。版表現にこだわり制作をつづけてきたが、近年はその技術を生かし、唯一無二のミクストメディア作品の制作も行う。

銅版画・写真の転写・布地の転写・鉛筆でのドローイング・アクリル絵の具を組み合わせ構成している画面は、様々な技法を使いながらも一体感があり、コラージュ作品のような違和感もあわせ持つ。

YukikoMorimoto

2008 graduated from Osaka University of Arts in specialising in Printmaking.

Utilizing primarily intaglio printmaking with copperplates, and innovatively combining with a mixed-media of techniques such as photographic and fabric transfer printing, pencil drawing and acrylic painting, Morimoto is able create her own unique expression of collage-like imageries with highly-refined lines and rich textures.

あこがれのイノセンス　Longing for Innocence

実在の動物や空想の動物、獣のマスクをかぶった子どもが登場する作品は、幼少期に憧れた理想の世界を表現している。

子どもはとても愛しくイノセンスな存在だが、イノセンスとは残酷さもあわせ持っている。

獣のマスクを被って顔を隠した子どもは、鑑賞者によっては可愛くも見え、恐ろしく感じるだろう。

今でも幼少期の憧れを引きずる私だが、大人になった今はイノセンスの罪を知っており、作品には少しの皮肉や毒が紛れ込んでしまう。

Feature the imageries of children wearing masks of real and imaginary creatures that Morimoto is known for, with which she explores the theme of “innocence”. In Morimoto’s world, innocence often collide with reality with images of sweet, adorable children adorning frightful-looking masks and animal hides, sporting mysterious and pensive gazes.
